Crochet with Me

This three-week course is an introduction to the art of Crochet.  Children and adults will learn the basic skills of crochet.  Crochet helps sharpen your fine motor skills and boost reading, math, and problem-solving skills.  All supplies will be provided.

Dates:

Time:  1:30-3:00 pm

Ages:  2nd grade to adults

Cost:  $10/participant or $8/CMDZ Family Member participant

Robotics Club

Come have some fun learning and playing with Dash and Dot robots.  This three-week intense course of fundamental programming concepts is based on each participants grade level and knowledge of robotics.

Dates:

Time:  4:30-6:00 pm

Ages:  1st-5th grades

Cost:  $15/participant or $12/CMDZ Family Member participant

Robotics Club has limited spots available and participants must be registered by July 31 to participate.

October

Spanish Club

Join us for this three week course to introduce basic communication skills in the Spanish language.

Date:

Time:  4:00-5:00 pm

Ages:  1st-8th grades

Cost:  $10/participant or $8/CMDZ Family Member participant

Must be registered by October 2 to participate.

November

Touch-A-Truck

This is a family fun event to allow kids to touch, climb-in, and see inside their favorite trucks.  From emergency vehicles to construction and farm equipment, we have it all!  Noise free hour (no loud horns) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Date:  Saturday, November 4

Time:  10:00 am-2:00 pm

Location:  Marvel Park Parsons, KS

Cost:  Free admission

December

Annual Grinch Day

Join us as we read the Dr. Seuss Classic "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"  We will also make a Grinch ornament and craft, create Grinch slime, and dust, meet and greet the Grinch himself and more!  Be sure to register early, as this annual event fills up quickly!

Ages:  2 and older

Cost:  $18/participant or $15/CMDZ Family Member participant

Must be registered by November  25 to participate.
