How much does a birthday party cost?

Birthday parties cost $150 for non CMDZ Family Members and $125 for CMDZ Family Members for two hours and up to 35 guest. A deposit of $50 must be received to confirm your birthday party reservation. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of the birthday party.

When are birthday parties available?

At this time birthday parties are only available on Sunday afternoons with two party times available.

  • 1:00-3:00 pm

  • 3:00-5:00 pm

How long does a birthday party last?

Birthday parties last for two hours. During your birthday party time you have free play inside the museum and use of the private program room for the first hour of your party time. You are able to set up in the program room 15 minutes prior to the start of the party. We ask that you are only in the program room for one hour to to allow staff time to clean and reset the room.

How many people can attend a birthday party?

Maximum 35 people (children & adults)

What are the rules for a birthday party?

CMDZ asks that you respect the guidelines for fun and safe play while at the museum.

* Everyone ages 3+ are required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth while in the museum.

* All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

* Always use walking feet. No running!

* Keep shoes on at all times.

* All food and drinks must remain in the program room.

* No confetti, piñatas, or silly string

* Always use your helping hands to put things back where they belong!

What is the cancellation policy?

If you are unable to honor your birthday time, you will forfeit your $50 deposit. If you or anyone in your rental group has been exposed to the COVID-19 virus or experience symptoms, we ask that you cancel your reservation, and we will work with you to reschedule or refund your deposit. Safety is our top priority.

Can you bring your own food and drinks?

Yes, you can bring outside food and drinks. All food and drinks must remain in the program room. We ask that you do not bring any peanut or nut products. We try to maintain a peanut and nut free facility to allow those kids with allergies a safe place to play.

Is the museum still open to the public?

The museum will continue to be open to the public during birthday parties. If you would like to have the museum exclusive to your party, please check out our museum rental page here.
